Using SSL on your iPhone or iPad provides increased security when connecting to your Ecenica email account.
Use the steps below to configure your iPhone and iPad to use SSL encryption for SSL POP3, SSL IMAP and SSL SMTP.

Steps to enable SSL email on iPhone and iPad
From your iPhone or iPad home screen:
- Tap > Settings > Mail, Contacts Calendars
- Tap your Ecenica email account
- Tap Account
- Change the following setting under Incoming Mail Server:
- Host Name:
- Enter mail.example.com, replacing example.com with your domain name.
- Tap Advanced
- Scroll down and change the following setting:
- Use SSL:
- On (Toggle is Green)
- Tap the back arrow at the top left
- Tap SMTP
- Tap Primary Server
- Change the following setting:
- Use SSL:
- On (Toggle is Green)
- Server Port
- 587
- Tap Done
- Tap the back arrow at the top left
- Tap Done
- Press the Home button to finish
