How to transfer Gandi domain names to Ecenica

Learn how to transfer your domain names from Gandi to Ecenica. We include steps for unlocking your domain, updating an IPS Tag (.uk domains) and obtaining an EPP code (Domain Auth Code).

How to change an IPS tag (Nominet Tag)

1. Log in to Gandi.
2. Click Domain from the left menu.
3. Click the domain you wish to transfer.
4. Click Transfer Out.
5. In the New Tag: field, enter ECENICA.
6. Click Change registrar.

How to unlock a domain

Follow these steps to unlock your domain to transfer your domain to Ecenica.

1. Log in to Gandi.
2. Click Domain from the left menu.
3. Click the domain you wish to transfer.
4. Click Transfer Out.
5. Disable Transfer lock.
6. Your domain will now be unlocked and ready to transfer away.

How to request an EPP Code (Domain Auth Code)

1. Log in to Gandi.
2. Click Domain from the left menu.
3. Click the domain you wish to transfer.
4. Click Transfer Out.
5. Click Copy under Authorization Key
6. Carefully save the domain authorisation key shown. We’ll prompt you for this code when submitting your domain transfer with Ecenica.
