- Tap Settings.
- Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
- Tap the specific account you are having a problem with.
- Tap Account Settings.
- You will see your server information.
- Swipe to the bottom and tap Advanced.
- Go to Deleted Messages.
- Tap Remove and tap Never.
- Tap Advanced in the top left.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Done.
