Summary

Follow these steps below to setup IMAP access to your Ecenica email account on your Samsung Galaxy. These settings apply to the Samsung S10 5G. They may be similar for other Samsung Galaxy models.

Configuring Samsung Galaxy

  1. Find Accounts. Slide two fingers down from the top of the screen. Press the settings cog icon. Tap Accounts and Backup. Tap Accounts
  2. Tap Add account. Tap Email. Tap Other
  3. Enter your Ecenica email address. For example, info@example.com. For Password, enter Your mailbox password. Tap Manual setup
  4. Tap IMAP account
  5. Enter your Ecenica email IMAP settings:
    Email Address:
    Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@example.com
    Username:
    Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@example.com
    Password:
    Your email account password
    IMAP server:
    Enter mail.example.com replacing ‘example.com’ with your domain.

    Your domain name is the part of your email address after the @ sign. e.g. info@example.com

    Security type:
    SSL (Accept All Certificates)
    Port:
    993
    IMAP Path Prefix:
    INBOX
  6. Enter your Ecenica email outgoing SMTP settings:
    SMTP server:
    Enter mail.example.com – replacing ‘example.com’ with your own domain name.

    Your domain name is the part of your email address after the @ sign. e.g. info@example.com

    Security type:
    SSL (Accept All Certificates)
    Port:
    465
    Require authentication to send email:
    On
    In the first field below ‘Require authentication’ enter your username:
    Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@example.com
    In the second field below ‘Require authentication’ enter your password:
    Your email account password
  7. Tap Sign in
  8. Tap the account you just created. Configure your preferred Account options. Choose your sync frequency, name, etc. Tap the Home screen to finish your setup.

Your Samsung Galaxy is now configured to send and receive email using your Ecenica E-mail address.
