Follow these steps below to setup IMAP access to your Ecenica email account on your new Samsung Galaxy.

Configuring Samsung Galaxy

  1. From the Home screen, tap Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add account > Email
  2. Tap Others
  3. Enter your Email address and Password and tap Manual setup
  4. Tap IMAP account
  5. Enter your Ecenica email IMAP settings:
    Email Address:
    Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@yourdomain.co.uk
    Username:
    Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@yourdomain.co.uk
    Password:
    Your email account password
    IMAP server:
    Use your Ecenica package’s hostname. For example, server1.ecenica.com
    Security type:
    SSL (Accept All Certificates)
    Port:
    993
    IMAP Path Prefix:
    INBOX
  6. Tap Next
  7. Enter your Ecenica email SMTP settings:
    SMTP server:
    Use your Ecenica package’s hostname. For example, server1.ecenica.com
    Port:
    465
    Security type:
    SSL (Accept All Certificates)
    Require Sign-in:
    Checked
    Username:
    Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@yourdomain.co.uk
    Password:
    Your email account password
  8. Tap Next
  9. Configure your Account options. Choose your preferred sync frequency and if you want to be notified when new email arrives. Tap Next.
  10. Set up Email. Give your account a nickname, for example, info. Enter the ‘from’ name you want to show others when you send email, for example John Smith. Tap Done.

Your Galaxy is now configured to send and receive email using your Ecenica E-mail address.
