In this article we’ll show you how to setup your Windows 8.1 Mail app to connect to your Ecenica email account to send and receive email using IMAP.
- Click Start > Mail
- Click View all in Settings > Other account
- Select IMAP and click Connect
- Click Show more details
- Enter your Ecenica email account details:
- Email Address:
- Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@yourdomain.co.uk
- Username:
- Your Ecenica email address. For example, info@yourdomain.co.uk
- Password:
- Your email account password
- Incoming (IMAP) email server:
- Use your Ecenica package’s hostname. For example, server1.ecenica.com
- Port:
- 993
- Incoming server requires SSL:
- checked
- Outgoing (SMTP) email server:
- Use your Ecenica package’s hostname. For example, server1.ecenica.com
- Port:
- 465
- Outgoing server requires SSL:
- checked
- Outgoing server requires authentication:
- checked
- User the same username and password to send and receive email:
- checked
- Click Connect
