What is PrestaShop?
PrestaShop is professional ecommerce shopping cart software that is available as a one-click install in your Ecenica cPanel.
Installing PrestaShop using Ecenica cPanel
- Login to your Ecenica cPanel.
- Click Softaculous.

Click PrestaShop from the Sofaculous List. - Click ‘Install’ tab.
Click the Install Button for PrestaShop in Softaculous. - Fill in your details for your online shop:
Default settings for PrestaShop in Softaculous. - In Directory:
- Leave this empty if you do not want to install in a folder. Enter any folder name to install in a folder. We recommend ‘shop’.
- Database Name:
- Leave this set as the default.
- Store Name:
- This is what your shop is called.. We recommend entering your company name.
- Admin Folder:
- This is where the PrestaShop backend is located. We recommend setting this to ‘admin’.
- Table Prefix:
- Leave this set as the default.
- Admin Email:
- Enter your full email address
- Admin Password:
- We recommend using the password generator (the yellow key) to generate a secure password. Keep this safe as this is your admin login.
- First Name and Last Name:
- Enter your name.
