In this article we’ll explain how to change the directory your addon domain points to in cPanel. This is useful if you want to point your addon domain to a a new directory of files for a new website.
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click Domains.
- Click Manage next to the addon domain you wish to edit.
- Enter the name of the new directory you want to use into New Document Root. Click Update.
Your addon domain will be instantly updated to point to the new directory.
