How-to setup Campaign Monitor Email Authentication in cPanel

This article explains how-to setup your Ecenica cPanel web hosting account to use Campaign Monitor’s DomainKey and Sender ID email authentication.

Before you start you will need to have your Ecenica cPanel and your Campaign Monitor DNS records.

Add Campaign Monitor DomainKeys/DKIM record in cPanel

1. Login to your Ecenica cPanel control panel
2. Click Advanced DNS Zone Editor
3. Select the domain name you want to edit from the drop-down list.
4. Fill in the fields
   1. Name: Enter cm._domainkey.
   2. TTL: Enter 14400
   3. Type: Select TXT from the drop-down list
   4. TXT Data: Enter the DomainKeys/DKIM TXT record you have been provided. Note, it starts “k=rsa;”

   

5. Click Add Record

Add Campaign Monitor Sender ID record in cPanel

1. Login to your Ecenica cPanel control panel
2. Click Advanced DNS Zone Editor
3. Select the domain name you want to edit from the drop-down list.
4. Click Edit next to your existing Ecenica SPF record
5. Edit the record by adding the following
   1. TXT Data: Enter the the following “v=spf1 include:ecenica.com include:cmail1.com ~all”

   

6. Click Edit Record

Your domain name will be updated with your new Campaign Monitor TXT records instantly.
