Learn how to transfer your domain names from UK2 to Ecenica. We include steps for unlocking your domain, updating an IPS Tag (.uk domains) and obtaining an EPP code (Domain Auth Code).

How to unlock a domain and request an EPP Code (Domain Auth Code)

Follow these steps to unlock your domain to transfer your domain to Ecenica.

  1. Login to UK2.
  2. Click Domains.
  3. Click Transfer from the top menu.
  4. Click Unlock Domain for your domain.
  5. Click Send EPP/Auth Code
  6. Check the email addresses and click Send
  7. Keep a copy of domain authorisation code. We’ll prompt you for your EPP code when submitting your domain transfer with Ecenica.

How to change an IPS tag (Nominet Tag)

  1. Login to UK2.
  2. Click Domains.
  3. Click Transfer from the top menu.
  4. Click Transfer Out for your domain.
  5. In the IPS Tag field, enter ECENICA.
  6. Click Transfer Out
  7. The IPS Tag will now be updated.
