SPF, DKIM and DMARC records help protect your email against spoofing and improve delivery. You can quickly check they’re set up correctly in your Ecenica hosting using the Email Deliverability tool.
Step 1: Open Email Deliverability
- Log in to Ecenica Dashboard.
- Click Services > My Services and then click Manage next to your Ecenica hosting service.
- Under Shortcuts click the Email tab.
- Click Email Deliverability.
Step 2: Select Your Domain (On multi-domain services)
- Find the domain you’d like to check.
- Click Manage next to the domain name.
Step 3: Review Your Records
You’ll now see a breakdown of your domain’s email authentication records:
- DKIM – verifies your messages haven’t been altered in transit.
- SPF – lists the mail servers authorised to send emails for your domain.
- DMARC – tells receiving servers how to handle messages that fail SPF or DKIM checks.
When the records are correct, you’ll see a green Valid badge next to each one, along with the current DNS record details.
For example, a valid domain will show:
- DKIM: ‘properly configured’ with a TXT record.
- SPF: ‘properly configured’ with a TXT record listing the approved mail servers.
- DMARC: ‘properly configured’ with a TXT record such as v=DMARC1; p=none;.
Step 4: Fix Issues if Needed
If a record is missing or incorrect, cPanel will highlight the issue and may offer a Repair button. Clicking this will add the recommended settings automatically. You can also copy the suggested record, e.g. our recommended SPF record "v=spf1 include:ecenica.com ~all" and update it manually in your DNS zone.

Once all records show as valid, your domain is correctly configured and your email is more likely to be delivered successfully.
