When your mailbox is full, you won’t receive new emails. Ecenica will hold your emails for up to 4 days while you clear space.
How long do you have
You have 4 days to clear space by deleting emails or increasing your mailbox quota. After 4 days, we will reject the emails back to the sender.
What to do
- Delete old emails or clear attachments to make space.
- Check your email to see if the held emails arrive.
What happens to the sender
While your mailbox is full, the sender will get a warning message every 8 hours. After 4 days, the sender gets a message saying the email was not delivered.

- Will I lose emails if my mailbox is full? If you clear space within 4 days. Emails will be delivered once your mailbox has space. After this emails will be rejected and returned to the sender.
- Can I recover emails that were sent back to the sender? No. Once an email is sent back, the sender needs to resend it.
