Set Up Ecenica Email In Outlook For IOS Mobile App

In this article we’ll explain how you can set up your Ecenica email account in the Outlook iOS app on iPhone and iPad.

Steps to configure IMAP email in Outlook iOS

Open the Outlook app on your iPhone or iPad.
Enter your full Ecenica email address, for example, info@example.com then tap Add Account
Tap Not Microsoft 365, or Not Exchange.
Tap Change Account Provider.
Tap Dismiss if a ‘Unable to log in’ warning message appears.
Tap Set Up Account Manually.
Tap IMAP.
Enter the following details:
- Email Address: Your full Ecenica email address, for example, info@example.com
- Display Name: The ‘From’ name for your emails
- Description: A short description for your account
Under IMAP Incoming Email Server enter the following:
- IMAP Hostname: mail.example.com, replacing example.com with your Ecenica domain.
- IMAP Port: 993
- IMAP Username: Your full Ecenica email address, for example, info@example.com
- IMAP Password: Your mailbox password.
Under SMTP Outgoing Email Server enter the following:
- SMTP Hostname: mail.example.com, replacing example.com with your Ecenica domain.
- SMTP Port: 465
- SMTP Username: Your full Ecenica email address, for example, info@example.com
- SMTP Password: Your mailbox password.
Tap Sign in
If all the settings are correct your Ecenica email account will be added to Outlook iOS and you can start sending and receiving email.

You can now send and receive email from Outlook for iOS.

Outlook’s focused mode will not show you all emails. Select Other to see all. You can disable focused in Settings > Email > Swipe Focused inbox to off
Outlook’s calendar does not support calDav, the calendar format used by your Ecenica shared calendars. We recommend you use Apple’s Calendar app on iOS if you wish to access your Ecenica calendar.
Outlook for iOS will by default only sync the last 30 days of messages.
