How to Repair a Database in cPanel

My MySQL database has crashed and corrupted. How can I check and fix it?

If a MySQL database has become corrupt or is marked as crashed you may need to check and repair it.

We recommend you backup your database before hand.

Check a database

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Click MySQL Databases
  3. Under Modify Databases find the Check Database drop-down and select the database you want to check.
  4. Click Check Database

Repair a database

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Click MySQL Databases
  3. Under Modify Databases find the Repair Database drop-down and select the database you want to repair.
  4. Click Repair Database
