Import a MySQL Database using phpMyAdmin

How can I upload my database?

You can quickly import your MySQL database export files into your Ecenica web hosting MySQL databases using phpMyAdmin.

Steps to import your MySQL database

  1. Login into your Ecenica cPanel control panel. See Where do I login to my hosting control panel
  2. Click phpMyAdmin
  3. Select the database you want to import to from the left menu.
  4. Click the Import tab.
  5. Click Choose File and select your SQL export file.
  6. Click Go

Your database file will be uploaded and imported. The time it will take depends on your upload speed and the size of the import file.

The maximum file size you can upload is 100MB. If you want to import a larger SQL file we recommend importing your MySQL database using SSH.
