Our Backup & Restore service allows you to restore to a point in the last 30 days.
Steps to restore a website files and database
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click File Backups
- Click Creation Date to sort your backups by date. Pick a restore point and click File Manager
- Select a directory or file to restore and click Restore Selected
- The restore will overwrite the current data in your directory. Confirm the restoration to proceed.
- Check the queue to view the restore progress. The time it takes to restore is affected by the number of files and size of your data. You will receive an email notification once the restore is complete.
- If need to restore a database click Database Backups.
- Database backups are listed by database name. Click Creation Date to sort your database backups by date. Pick a restore point and click Restore
- The restore will overwrite the current data in your database. Confirm the restoration to proceed.
- Your database restoration will begin. The time it takes to restore is affected by the number of rows in your database and size of your database. You will receive an email notification once the restore is complete.
