WHM DNS Zone Manager is a tool in Web Host Manager (WHM) control panel for you to manage and configure your DNS settings for all the domains hosted on your Ecenica Managed Server.
With WHM DNS Zone Manager you can add, modify, and delete DNS records for each domain, such as A records, MX records, CNAME records, TXT records, and more.
Steps to access DNS Zone Manager in WHM
- Log in to WHM
- Once you’re logged in, you’ll be taken to the WHM dashboard. From there, look for the DNS Functions option in the left-hand menu and click on it.
- In the DNS Functions dropdown menu, select DNS Zone Manager.
- You will now be taken to the “DNS Zone Manager” page. On this page, you will see a list of all the domains that are hosted on your server.
- To manage the DNS settings for a particular domain, click on the Manage button next to the domain name.
- You will now be taken to the “Zone Records” page for the domain. This page displays all the DNS records for the selected domain.
- From here, you can add, edit, or delete DNS records as needed. To add a new DNS record, click on the Add Record button and select the type of record you want to create (e.g., A record, MX record, CNAME record, etc.). Then enter the relevant information for the new record.
- To edit an existing DNS record, click on the Edit button next to the record you want to modify. Make your changes and click Save Record.
- To delete a DNS record, click on the Delete button next to the record you want to remove.
- You can edit multiple DNS records at a time. If you’re making multiple changes, click on the Save All Records button to save your changes once your done.
