When you view your new domain name in your web browser you see the following error:
This Domain Name is Suspended
The domain name you have entered is not available. It has been taken down because the email address of the domain holder (Registrant) has not been verified.
If you are the Registrant of this domain name, please contact your domain registration service provider to complete the verification and activate the domain name.
Symptom
- You have recently registered a new domain
- The domain is registered to an email address which has not previously been used for a domain contact
Cause
Some domains are required to have a valid email address. When you register a new domain an email address is sent to the registrant contact email address with a link to confirm it’s a valid and working email address.
If you do not verify your email address your domain is suspended.
Resolution
- Check your email account for an email with the subject IMPORTANT! Verify your contact information for example.com
- Open the email and click the link to verify your domain contact email
Once verified please allow 24-48 hours for your domain to be re-activated.
