Domain aliases allow you to register domain names and point them to your current website and email addresses. This is useful if you have registered extra domain names to protect your online brand or simply want to use a new domain name to generate more web traffic to your website.

How-to Add a Domain Alias

If you are using our Windows Web Hosting plans then use the instructions below to setup your domain alias.

  1. Login to your Windows Control Panel.
  2. Click the Domains Button
  3. Click Add Domain
  4. Click Domain Alias
  5. Enter the domain name you want to use
  6. Tick point to your existing website and select your existing website from the list.
  7. You can also add the domain name as an Email Alias. With this enabled any mailboxes setup on your current domain name will also receive email using your new domain alias.

  8. Tick Point to existing Mail Domain to and select your mail domain from the list if you would like your domain alias to also receive email.
  9. Tick Enable DNS if your domain name is using our Name Servers
  10. Click Add Domain

Your domain alias has now been setup.
