In this guide we’ll show you how to add a new email forwarder, or email alias, to one of your domains using WebsitePanel’s Mail Alias feature.

Create a new Email Forwarder

  1. Log in to WebsitePanel.
  2. Click Mail > Mail Aliases
  3. Click Create Mail Alias
  4. In the E-mail Address field enter the first part of the email alias you wish to create. For example, hello@
  5. If you have multiple domain names, select the domain you want to use from the drop-down.
  6. Type the email address you wish to forward email to in the Forwards to e-mail field.
  7. Click Save to create your email alias.

Setup a forwarder on an existing email account

Use these steps to set up a forwarder for an existing email account.

  1. Log in to WebsitePanel.
  2. Click Mail > Mail Accounts
  3. Click the email address you wish to create a forwarder for to open it’s settings
  4. Scroll down to the Mail Forwarding section and check Forwarding Enabled
  5. Type the email address you wish to forward email to in the Forward mail to address: field.
  6. Check Keep original Message if you want to save a copy of the forwarded emails in the email account. Please note if you enable this option you will need to regularly check your mailbox and delete emails to avoid using all your mail storage.
  7. Click Save
